Sibling Support Videos for Professionals

Sibling Partnership for Advocacy, Research, and Care (Sibling Partnership) members across four institutions collaborated on the development of an educational webinar to increase awareness and practical skills to support siblings of youth with chronic conditions or serious illnesses. The webinar is geared toward health care professionals.

This webinar can be watched in its entirety, or viewers may select specific module(s).

The webinar is broken up into 5 modules, which together last approximately 1.5 hours.

Modules address the following topics:

1. Rationale for supporting siblings of children with chronic conditions or serious illnesses

2. Psychosocial screening and assessment

3. Psychosocial support and interventions

4. Consultation and collaboration with families, medical providers or hospital-based supports, schools, and organizations or foundations

5. Conclusions
